We are club of individuals who like to explore and have fun with radio,
electronics and computing with an emphasis on radio and communication
We meet every third Monday of the month, doors open 7:30pm for 8:00pm start - entry is free - in a meeting room at:
MAYS BOUNTY LOCATION MAP
If you want to attend a meeting for the first time, it is best to turn up around 7:45pm and ask at the bar just inside the venue - and there should be one or two of us buying a drink there before moving to the meeting room, or the person behind the bar should be able to tell you where the room is. There is usually plenty of room in the car park, and we are a very short walk from other free evening street parking on Fairfields Road and Council Road.
Mays Bounty is the home of Basingstoke Cricket Club and has the convenience of a
bar and large fields.
Club members operate a Yahoo discussion group for its membership and friends, providing a means for all group members to rapidly disseminate information of interest.. The site also contains files, photographs and a calendar covering the club's activities.
On Twitter, please find us @BasingstokeARC
The club participates in a number of field activities during the year, including contests and other radio related activities.
We welcome new members, whether or not they can attend evening meetings, just the weekend events, or even as a virtual member relying mainly on the Yahoo group to participate.
Our next Club night meeting will be a talk on Raspberry Pi Computers by David Chatterton
Starting at 8:00pm on 20th March 2017 at May's Bounty Committee Meeting Room
We are currently looking for a speaker for our April meeting
